Stone Pitt Holiday Park – Privacy Notice
Stone Pitt Holiday Park (‘we’ or ‘us’ or ‘our’) gather and process your personal information in accordance with this privacy notice and in compliance with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). This notice provides you with the necessary information regarding your rights and obligations and explains how, why and when we collect and process your personal data.
How we use your information
Website
This privacy notice tells you what to expect when we collect personal information. It applies to information we collect about you when booking your holiday.
When you visit our website, we record the IP address you use when visiting, this is part of the website process and it is not used and is removed after the standard 12 month period.
When making a booking, we collect the primary contacts name, address and email address and telephone number so that the booking can be made and invoice/receipt sent out. When booking online the payment details are collected and passed directly to our payment provider, Stripe, and are not retained by ourselves. All payment details taken over the phone are immediately destroyed.
Email correspondence
The email is processed via our internet service provider and will be retained on their systems for no more than 2 years unless the content is required to be by UK law.
We collect your holiday booking information on our computer and it is secured to a backup. The information will be lawfully processed due to the contractual agreement you undertake by making the booking. The information will be retained in line with HMRC requirements for financial records, for 7 years. Enquiries, where no subsequent reservation was made, will be retained for no more than 12 months.
All completed registration forms will be retained for six years in line with current contract law.
If you use our WiFi service, then the usage is monitored by our supplier, Camping Connect LTD, and these details are retained in line with UK anti-terrorist and law enforcement guidelines.
We use CCTV for protection and security of assets and the images are retained in line with UK law enforcement guidelines.

We take your privacy seriously and we take every reasonable measure and precaution to protect and secure your personal data. We work hard to protect you and your information from unauthorised access, alteration, disclosure or destruction and have several layers of security measures in place, including anti-virus software and role-based access.

We do not share or disclose any of your personal information without your consent, other than for the purposes specified in this notice, or when requested by the relevant authority in the event of suspected criminality eg police.
